Georgia Tobin

Georgia being an athlete herself is particularly interested in providing a service which fits in with the unique demands of an athlete's sport with a person first, athlete second approach.  Georgia has availability to work with individuals and teams, as well as provide workshops on the topics of mental health and wellbeing in athletic populations. Georgia is currently working towards accreditation, whilst under supervision. 

Georgia has a particular interest in equestrian sport, she has competed in equestrian sports since a young age and therefore has a passion for all things horses. 

In terms of her practice, her focus is on understanding the uniqueness of the individual, their passions, and what they would like to achieve from their sessions. Building a relationship with her clients, where they feel comfortable and open is of utmost importance.

What is sport psychology?

It is the application of scientific processes to the mental aspects of athletes, coaches and teams. This means that we help to enhance people participating in sport and exercising in general. Some of the common queries are performance stress, confidence, coping with injury, mental skills enhancement and emotional control.
